Below I listed some patterns that are available for free. Many of these patterns are also available for purchase, but you can get them for free via Creativebug or My Blueprint. I also included how you can download 40 free patterns from Patrones Magazine.

The Adrienne Blouse retails for $18 on the Friday Pattern Co website. I was considering buying it because I like the pattern and I think it is good for the summer. I like a blouse from Boston Proper with eyelet sleeves that has a similar shape and thought to give it a try. It looks very simple and it is designed for kits.

Creativebug published a class and you can download this pattern from their website. If you are not a subscriber, you can try it for free via this link.

2. Cambria Duster Coat Pattern also by Friday Pattern Co.

I was sold to signup just with the Adrienne Blouse but you can also download the Cambria Duster Coat pattern from Creativebug. This pattern retails for $14 on Friday Pattern Co website. Even if you are not ready to sew a coat yet, it is a good pattern for the fall.

Another project in my “to sew” list is the Pagosa Pants. I found this free download browsing through My Blueprint classes. My Blueprint gives you credits to get “keep forever” classes and they will ship a printed pattern with many of their classes. The Pagosa Pants is a pdf that you can download from the class materials. The Pagosa pants has two different leg widths, front pockets, elasticated waist, and waist tie. It looks very simple and it is another great piece for the summer.

4. Download 40 free patterns from Patrones Magazine

One of my favorite finds is the Patrones Magazine app. I learned about this app with Lisa on her Youtube Channel And Sew On. Patrones magazine is in Spanish but has tons of pictures. The inspiration of their patterns is from designer collections and it recommends fabrics and modern styles. You can subscribe to the magazine (it is only $3.99 per issue) and each issue includes 40 patterns. You can install the app on your phone or iPad and download their free magazine.

Install Patrones Magazine App on your phone or iPad, download the free magazine, and have access to 40 digital patterns!

The Spanish pattern magazine Patrones has launched today a new app where you can purchase and download their magazine for €4.49 (promotional price).
You can download the whole magazine for that price and then print your pattern or patterns of choice in A4 paper.
They had already uploaded a few back issues and they are planning to make even further back issues available.
Magazines are available as single issues or annual subscription through their app. No individual patterns for download right now.
I know there are quite a few international fans of Patrones magazine around Patternreview which don't suscribe due to the prohibiting shipping costs from Spain, so this might be your chance to get your hands on this magazine.

I have an annual subscription to their paper magazine, I was planning on cancelling because I have limited storage space and I never have the courage to throw out pattern magazines. I might as well renew with their new e-magazine plan. I love perusing through the paper magazine and get my eyes away from a computer screen but I guess this will be better for my wallet, the environment and for my bookshelves.

This is exciting news but I can't get the link to work on my laptop or android. Maybe it is not available in the UK yet.

I could click on the link and go to Play Store to download the app, I read in their Facebook page that they were having some trouble this afternoon with the app.
I hope they make it available worldwilde.
Meanwhile here the link to the Facebook announcement of the e-magazine.

I'm a little confused by the app. I'm guessing you have to install the app on your phone, download the PDF after you pay for it, and then either print from your phone or store the PDF in DropBox or something so you can print from your home computer?
I'm betting everyone has been printing from other devices for years and I'm the last one to know LOL!
I lived in Spain for 5 years and thought the women there dressed so well. I didn't have a sewing machine then so this magazine wasn't on my radar. I did get their knitting magazines but can't remember what they were called.
Thanks again for posting this.

I am absolutely delighted with this news. For anyone on the fence, Patrones does pitch perfect 'copies' of the latest high street looks. Indeed, you'll find a number of patterns titled with reference to the store/designer they copy. They are consistently well drafted.
Everything is in Spanish, so you either have language skills or can wing it (google translate still isn't great on sewing vocab!) There are only three sizes - 40, 44, 48 - so it's really intended for reasonably confident seamstresses that can grade/fit.
I have sewn some absolute winners from the issues I picked up in Portugal, but cannot locate the magazine in Australia and subscriptions were prohibitively expensive. This news has just made my day. For anyone on the fence - 4.99e (in Au: $7.49 an issue) is a great price to kick the app off.
Again. Delighted. Just delighted.
